Lemongrass, scientific name Cymbopogon flexuosus, is a tropical perennial tall plant of the grass family (Poaceae), native to Southeast Asian countries and India. When grown in pots, it can reach a height of about 50-60cm. It has narrow leaves that resemble grass more closely. It loves bright, sunny, and warm places. The plant does not bloom.

It is considered a strong natural analgesic and can be used for:
