Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize the loss of airflow pressure passing through the filter, ensuring optimal conditions for fully exploiting maximum power.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers use advanced software and technologies to produce air filters. An F1 filter must be very lightweight, made from the best raw materials, enhancing performance. Only woven alloys with an epoxy coating are used to protect against gasoline fumes and moisture oxidation from the air. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil for the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical team has developed a production system based on soft rubber molding, producing the familiar BMC red filters. They are made in a single piece without welded joints, avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, known as "Full Molding," originates from research and development in F1 and is crucial for the technical and quality characteristics of BMC air filters.
