Recently, I have been immersed in research on keyboards. Now, for those who are looking, I can share the following conclusions I reached personally. The world of custom keyboards is vast; it requires reading, experimentation, patience, and above all, what else… some money. If you are Razer fanboys, say no more, you start here. Otherwise, there are Hall effect switches for the more Pro (wannabe?) gamers. Obviously, there is a competitive advantage with these keyboards, but perhaps for the very competitive ones, I don't think it makes any difference for casual – decent skilled gamers by using a good linear switch with a 1-1.2 actuation point and 50-45g force. Something like silver linears, etc. Now, the price is high, and if we consider that a linear switch set is also needed for FPS enthusiasts (from 20e to 60e extra), we almost reach the prices of a Wooting – Boog/Zoom 75, etc. I preferred to go for a classic mechanical keyboard for the customization options and the variety of switches you can try because you are not limited like with Optical/HE switches that take specific switches and there aren't many options for change. There are definitely many cheaper options to start with; I saw very nice keyboards from budget Redragon to high-end Keychron and everything in between. I went here because it seems that there is a lot of work put into this specific one (Gaskets/mod tapes/foams/screw-in stabilizers, pre-lubed, beautiful LED, etc.); it is an amazing out-of-the-box setup for those who don't want to get too involved but without losing any advantages of custom keyboards if they want to dive in later.
*** I changed my rating to 4, as quite a few Unnits seem to have issues with double registers, just like mine; I changed the switches, but the problem doesn't seem to be fixed. Obviously, there might be some issue with certain batches of the boards; others may not have the same problem. Otherwise, it was a pretty good keyboard, but for almost 200e, such issues are hardly acceptable. Maybe others are lucky or have fixed the issue with the Pro version, which is 100e more, lol.
As for Keychron, I see myself ultimately leaning towards them, although Razer's RGB with North-facing keycaps and LED diffusers, as well as Synapse, which supports custom LEDs in many games, is unique and I might miss it a bit; I can't trust them again for this category of keyboards.

Τώρα για όσους ψάχνουν μπορώ να πω τα παρακάτω που κατέληξα για εμένα προσωπικά.
Ο κόσμος των custom keyboards είναι τεράστιος θέλει διάβασμα θέλει πειραματισμό θέλει υπομονή και πάνω από όλα θέλει τι άλλο… λεφτάκια

Διαφορετικά υπάρχουν τα Hall effect για τους περισσότερο Pro (wannabe?) gamers.
Προφανώς και υπάρχει competitive advantage σε αυτά τα keyboards αλλά ίσως για τους πολύ μάχιμους, δεν νομίζω ότι κάνει καμία διαφορά σε casual – decent skilled gamers βάζοντας ένα καλό linear switch 1-1.2 Actuation point με 50-45g force. Κάτι σαν τα silver linears κτλ.
Τώρα η τιμή είναι ψηλά και εάν υπολογίσουμε ότι χρειάζεται και ένα linear switch set για τους FPSακιδες κυρίως (από 20e έως και 60e εξτρά) φτάνουμε σχεδόν τις τιμές ενός wooting – boog/zoom 75 ktl.
Εγώ προτίμησα να πάω σε κλασικό mechanic για τις επιλογές παραμετροποίησης και πληθώρα switches που μπορείς να δοκιμάσεις διότι δεν περιορίζεσαι όπως στα Optical / HE switches που παίρνουν συγκεκριμένα switches και δεν υπάρχουν πολλές επιλογές σε αλλαγή.
Σίγουρα υπάρχουν πολλά φτηνότερα που μπορείτε να ξεκινήσετε είδα πολύ ωραία keyboards από budget reddragon, σε high end keychron και everything in between. Πήγα εδώ γιατί φαίνεται ότι υπάρχει αρκετή δουλειά πάνω στο συγκεκριμένο (Gaskets / mod tapes/ foams/ screw in stabilizers, prelubed, όμορφο LED κτλ) είναι ένα φοβερό out of the box setup για όσους δεν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν πολύ αλλά χωρίς να χάνουν οποιαδήποτε πλεονεκτήματα των custom keyboards εάν θέλουν να ασχοληθούν αργότερα.
*** αλλαγή βαθμολογίας σε 4, αρκετά Unnits όπως φαίνεται έχουν θέμα με double registers, όπως και το δικό μου, άλλαξα τα switches αλλά δεν φαίνεται να διορθώνεται το πρόβλημα, προφανώς θα υπάρχει κάποιο θέμα με κάποιες σειρές απο τα boards, άλλοι μπορεί να μηνν έχουν το ίδιο θέμα. κατά τα άλλα ήταν αρκετά καλό keyboard, για σχεδόν 200ε όμως σχεδόν δεν είναι αποδεκτά τέτοια προβλήματα. ίσως άλλοι να είναι τυχερροί ή να διορθώσανε το πρόβλημα το Pro version το οποίο είναι 100ε ακόμη παραπάνω λολ..
για keychron με βλέπω τελικά αν και τα RGB της Razer με North facing keycaps και LED diffusers όπως και το Synapse Που υποστηρριζει custom LED σε πολλά παιχνίδια είναι μοναδικό και ίσως να μου λείψει λίγο δεν μπορώ να τους εμπιστευτώ ξανά για αυτή την κατηγορία Keyboards.
