So, as an owner of the watch for 1.5 years, let me say a couple of things for those who wish to buy it.
The watch is beautiful on the wrist and fits perfectly, with countless watchfaces from various sources that make it more sporty or classy depending on your needs. It's the only Xiaomi watch with the Play Store where you can normally download apps on the watch, which is why the standby time is limited to about 2-2.5 days depending on what you have running, but as soon as you put it on the charging base, it goes from 0-100% in about 20 minutes (it charges super fast). Also, its settings, from what I've compared with other watches, are 95% accurate and correct. The speaker and microphone work perfectly, you can hear and be heard just fine, and it also gives you the ability to speak and have the watch write messages (voice command), and it also displays a keyboard for typing. Connection is flawless, immediate with no disconnections, long range, storage space to put pictures and music, and it also has NFC for contactless payments. Overall, a complete watch, beautiful, notifications for almost everything, oximeter, sleep, stress, blood pressure, oxygen, calls, social, etc. Maybe the only downside is the battery, but it charges so fast that I don't have a problem. Overall, it's worth it.

I have had it for a month now, so I have an opinion about the watch. Simply flawless!! I haven't experienced any disconnections as I read from other users, and I am actually impressed by the distance it remains connected to the phone since I usually leave the phone in the car and wander around doing various activities (over 20 meters if there aren't many obstacles, and in many cases, I see it connected and talking on calls even at around 30 meters, unlike the other hands-free devices I have which lose connection as soon as they are a few meters away from the phone - I am blown away by this!!!). Strong and clear sound on calls, clear and bright screen, quality and beautiful construction, super easy operation, and it has almost everything (I don't know what else someone could ask for). If you set it up with some third-party watch faces (from the playstore) which usually allow for many customizations both in appearance and mainly in functions (shortcuts, widgets, etc.), it becomes a "workhorse" for tasks and usage. I don't have anything to say about the battery; personally, I haven't been bothered by its autonomy (when I see it dropping, I will put it on the charger and in half an hour it will be great). I should mention that I have it "married" with a Xiaomi 13T.

A month and a bit of use and I’m ready to go back to my old Smartwatch (Amazfit GTS from 2019). The build quality is good, the battery lasts 2 days max, but the software is terrible. It’s my first Wear OS watch and it makes me realize how much more user-friendly devices with proprietary OS are.

It doesn’t sync settings or data like steps, heart rate, or weather correctly. A week or two ago, Raise to Wake stopped working—no matter what settings I change or how many times I restart it, it doesn’t fix. The only possible solution is to do a Factory Reset for the second (!) time in a month. The first time was needed because, although it connected via Bluetooth, the app stopped recognizing it.

Update 2026: The above issue was fixed with an update from Xiaomi.
Then I upgraded to WearOS 5 and it’s worse in every way. It ruins some of the old OLED faces and now they’re gray. You can no longer change the type or strength of the vibration for the alarm and you’re forced to use a new one that is weaker and doesn’t have the same rhythm.
This is a WearOS issue and not the watch’s fault, but you can’t roll back so don’t upgrade.

I have been using this watch since February 27th and now I think it's time for a review.
Starting off, I would like to emphasize that I am a person with total vision loss. Therefore, I needed a watch that runs on the Google Wear OS operating system so that it is compatible with the TalkBack screen reader that all Android phones have pre-installed, allowing me to use it, something that this watch obviously has.
Having addressed this issue, I will now move on to the positive aspects I have identified. The sport I practice is swimming in a pool, and I can say that the watch, in general, is accurate in its measurements. Sometimes it loses track a bit in counting the laps I swim, however, considering the fact that it is purely a smartwatch and not a watch specialized in this area or even an activity tracker, I can say that I am satisfied. The recording of heart rate, steps, and sleep, when it feels like measuring it, and I will explain why I say this in the negatives, all of these, in my opinion, are done with fairly good accuracy, and I declare myself satisfied.
In terms of capabilities, most of the things it does are well above average for me, and one could say that it could possibly serve as a substitute for a mobile phone in times when we cannot have it on us. Everything that Google has created works very smoothly and without any delay, as well as most of the apps we download. Its battery life is quite good as well, as with everything open, it lasts about a day and a half. What impressed me from the very beginning is the speed at which it charges. In half an hour at most, it goes from 20% to full charge, no matter what charger I use, and this is one of its strongest features.
Unfortunately, because nothing in this life is perfect, let's now talk about its negatives. A major drawback that has troubled me quite a bit is that at least 4 times a week, if you don't pay attention, the heart rate sensor does not work during sleep, resulting in it not measuring sleep at all and generally not measuring heart rate. The only solution to this problem is to turn off the watch every 2 to 3 days and then turn it back on. Pay attention, not a restart, it doesn't do anything. It's a shame because it greatly affects the experience, and if there is no update to fix it, I'm afraid we won't get along well.
And I come to the second negative point, the updates. We are almost in the summer of 2024 and it still hasn't received the new version of the OS, something that competitors like Samsung and even OnePlus have offered for their watches. And because it uses exactly the same processor as the OnePlus Watch 2, I believe it is clearly Xiaomi's responsibility to provide this major upgrade.
In other news that mainly concern me, many Xiaomi apps are not very accessible with TalkBack, leading me to resort to third-party solutions. I will simply mention the workout app, and draw your own conclusions. With a Samsung watch, such a problem does not exist, everything works perfectly, and there is simply no need to download an app, at least for training.
And now, let's move on to the final conclusions. I do not regret buying this watch because I am a Xiaomi user and I wanted to create something like an ecosystem, and the cooperation with my mobile phone is excellent. Additionally, it fits very well on my wrist and seems to withstand despite not being treated particularly well by me, especially in the pool, it has taken quite a few hits but it endures.

However, I would not recommend it so easily to someone else. If someone needed to use a smartwatch with the same software, I would recommend exploring options from Samsung or even the OnePlus watch, which also made its first attempt this year but for me had a much stronger entry into this space than Xiaomi. If someone does not necessarily need such a watch, including myself if I did not have vision issues, I would definitely look at another watch from Xiaomi like those in the S series or even Redmi, where you may not be able to download apps but you save on battery life with a huge difference because one lasts two days and the other a week at worst with everything open. Even better, you can go to other companies like Huawei or even Amazfit, which is funded by Xiaomi and having experience in the past with such a watch which obviously I practically could not use as it did not have a screen reading program, it made much better and more accurate measurements and certainly did not have that annoying issue with the sensor.

In conclusion, I believe that Xiaomi made a quite dynamic entry into the wear OS smartwatch category and I look forward to seeing what new things it has to show this October when it will likely announce its successor. I may hold this company in high regard, however, I also have corresponding requirements and I believe it can do much better. I definitely expect some improvements in the accessibility of its applications and sincerely demand that the issue with sleep be addressed. Besides, what can I say if I have fallen into a defective model, but I do not think..

Good morning. Let me also write my personal experience with this specific smart watch. I bought the Xiaomi because I wanted to upgrade from the Huawei GT 2 and after seeing the reviews and the site I decided to buy it. Perhaps my biggest mistake was not buying the Huawei GT 4. The purchase was made in December 2023 and for the first month things were going well. Then the issues started. Firstly, the battery barely lasts a day with almost everything closed. Secondly, there are more disconnections than connections with the mobile phone at half a meter and of the same company. Thirdly, it has been restarting on its own for a month now without any reason. Fourthly, it is the second consecutive time that I do outdoor running and halfway through the route it exits the exercise and loses everything I have done up to that moment. Fifthly, it shows notifications whenever it wants, while on the mobile phone they come normally. The only thing that works correctly and I have tried several times is the NFC.
