Having been a owner for a year, with daily use in various conditions, I think I should write a review.

I have never had another waist bag, so I have no point of comparison.

That said, the bag has amazing seams, and very high-quality zippers. They must endure dozens of open-close actions every day for a year, and they are just fine. Like any proper bag, it has a double zipper for the main compartment, so it opens easily regardless of setup. Tip: if you grab the zipper with one hand and the small flaps that protrude on the sides with the other, it makes opening easier.

The material being Cordura, is what you expect: I have dragged it through branches, concrete, it has endured rain, sand, sun, sweat and it still looks like it does in the photos. Like new. It washes very easily by hand when needed.

In terms of space, there has never been a moment where I thought I would like something bigger. It holds what I want. Sometimes I have even put my raincoat inside. I think anything bigger would become too heavy to stand well, it would need different straps, it would be something else altogether.

In the organization panel it has, I usually put two small pens that I have. The elastic bands there have equal distances between them, ideally I would like some with a little more space to fit something larger, e.g. a Leatherman multi-tool. Of course, with the MOLLE/PALS it has, it easily accommodates a small multi-tool pouch.

I wear it quite comfortably both crossbody and at the waist, depending on my clothing (e.g. if I wear a thick jacket, it’s not convenient to wear at my waist).

Regarding whether the strap "slips" and gradually grows, I would say yes, it slips. But over the course of weeks. It’s not at an uncomfortable and annoying pace.

As for the adjustment where you completely remove the strap and pass it through the belt, it’s possible. It didn’t seem convenient to me but it can be done. What seemed more convenient to me is to pass it through some strap on the backpack so you suddenly turn it into a pouch.
