It took me 3 hours to fully wax the jacket after first removing all the old wax because it had absorbed odors. The job I did on my own is satisfactory, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who doesn't have patience or maybe fears the result. Dry cleaners do a much better job. Also, the title (for shoes) is wrong (captain obvious out).
