To start with, I should say that I bought it 3 years ago under the name Fraiche, expecting a fresh, light summer fragrance—but not so. And it’s not that I bought it completely blind; I had looked into its notes, what fragrances it resembled, and so on. It was one of my first purchases of Arabic fragrances, and when I received it and tried it, I couldn’t understand what had gone wrong. It was nothing like what I had imagined. It was clear that it was a different fragrance. Nevertheless, because I had much less experience with fragrances than I do today, especially Arabic ones, and because there was a lack of information about the fragrance’s actual composition, I assumed that this was probably what the fragrance was like and that it simply didn’t suit me. Later, this led me to be particularly careful with my subsequent purchases of Arabic clones, especially from this particular company. I later realized that the company itself was responsible for this confusion, with its choice of names, which it changed arbitrarily, and that’s how I ended up with a fragrance that, no matter how hard I tried to wear it, I regretted it every time. It is by far the worst fragrance in my collection, and I say that with great confidence because I gave it far more chances than I should have, due to the mix-up I explained above. Its actual smell is a very heavy smoky leather and oud wood. Three years ago, it reminded me of an ashtray full of cigarette butts and Betadine. Even today, it reminds me of the same thing. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. I really can’t imagine anyone wearing this fragrance with pleasure, but there may well be an audience for these fragrances too. Why did I decide to write this review now? The reason is that over the years my fragrance collection has grown quite a lot, so I decided to sort out the ones I don’t use at all, and in the process, like it or not, I had the misfortune of being reacquainted with this particular fragrance. I tried giving it to family members and friends, in case there was at least someone else who would appreciate it more than I do, but without success. Unfortunately, it will end up in the trash.
