Description & Specifications

Berling Pool Paint is a one-component, solvent-based protective paint for concrete swimming pools, fountains and non-potable water tanks, for indoor and outdoor use. It is resistant to water, moisture, mild acids and other chemical solutions, but not to strong acids. It is ready to use and can be applied with a brush or roller.

For new surfaces, apply one primer coat of the same paint, thinned with Thinner E by 12–15%, followed by two top coats thinned by 0–10%. On previously painted surfaces, apply two coats thinned by 0–10% with Thinner E. Before painting, the surface must be free of dust and salts. When repainting, remove any loose old paint. New cement must be left to dry for at least 27 days, cement-mortar repairs for at least 7 days, and surfaces must also be left for at least 7 days after rain. A moisture test is essential before painting.
