Να υπάρχει συμβατότητα στο πρωτόκολλο επικοινωνίας. Να μπορεί δηλαδή τόσο η κάμερα όσο και το καταγραφικό να έχουν σαν επιλογή ένα κοινό πρωτόκολλο επικοινωνίας. Εμένα παίζουν όλα επιλέγοντας το ONVIF.
