The Fushan gastrostomy tube is a tube inserted through a small incision in the abdomen into the stomach and used for long-term enteral feeding.

The feeding tube is suitable for long-term use, although it sometimes needs to be replaced. It can be useful where there is difficulty swallowing due to neurological or anatomical disorders. Dysphagia may be caused by a disease, surgery, or injury.

To solve nutritional problems of some patients, a channel should be created between the anterior gastric wall and the anterior abdominal wall. The PEG tube can be replaced by a gastrostomy tube after 4-6 weeks.
