Precise AA (advanced aspherical) and aspherical lens elements, three ED glass elements, and Super ED glass work together in an advanced optical design to provide outstanding resolution and contrast from corner to corner across the entire 70-200 mm telephoto zoom range. State-of-the-art optics deliver stunning sharpness, clarity, color, and contrast, while the exceptionally smooth full-frame background bokeh is enhanced by a 9-blade circular aperture mechanism and carefully optimized spherical aberration.
