Amaterasu and her student, Empress Himiko, tyrannize feudal Japan with their powerful army of yokai. All hopes rely on Kensei the samurai and Ayame the kunoichi, two siblings who have been trained for years to defeat the goddess. Combining their abilities, they will enter the imperial capital of Osaka to steal the three sacred treasures, the empress's source of power.

  • Switch between protagonists in real time. Kensei, the samurai, uses his katana for close combat but cannot jump. Ayame is much more agile and uses ranged attacks.
  • Overcome old-school platform challenges. Retro platformers are the game's main reference, but it also brings a modern experience to the table.
