The Helikon-Tex Claymore Bag is a one-day shoulder bag designed for tactical and everyday use. It was used by the American military in the 1960s for transporting the M18A1 mine, which led to the name Claymore Bag. After the end of the war, it became popular for civilian use as well, with a redesign for commercial production.
This bag is positioned between a larger Haversack (8lt) and a less spacious Essential Kit bag (2.5lt). It is made of 500D Cordura, which is much more durable than traditional nylon and polyester, providing high resistance to abrasion and harsh use. It features fourteen (14) pockets and can be used as a go-bag, accommodating spare ammunition, a canteen, and a lightweight jacket.
The Claymore bag can hold a one-liter bottle, a folding saw, and a small axe. The external pockets are designed for quick access, with two large external pockets secured with Velcro. On the back, there are three pockets for additional storage space, suitable for magazines as well.
The main compartment secures with a zipper, has four flat pockets, and an open space for a notebook or tablet. Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the back for valuables. Keys and small items can be hung on the loops on the sides of the bag.
