General Instructions for Use/Maintenance of Cooking Pots

Use and care:

  • Before using the product, remove all labels and stickers.
  • Clean it with water and soap, boil a small amount of water, let it cool and then dry carefully.
  • Coat the non-stick surface with olive oil and wipe lightly.
  • It is not necessary to use oils or fats when cooking in the non-stick pot.
  • Do not use "spray oil". The layer of oil that is created is so thin that it will burn at a low temperature, destroying the non-stick properties of the pot.
  • Select the correct size of the stovetop that is closest to the diameter of the pot and center the pot over the heat source.
  • Pots for INDUCTION stoves should be placed on the correct stovetop based on their diameter.
  • Use the pot on low or medium heat, not greater than 280° C.
  • Never fry fatty foods until they burn and blacken.
  • Avoid sharp cooking tools and do not cut inside the pot. It is recommended to use wooden, plastic, and silicone tools.
  • Store the pot carefully to maintain the internal non-stick coating intact.
  • Pots with plastic handles should not be used in the oven.
  • Check the handles before use and tighten them if needed.

Cleaning:

  • Hand washing with a sponge and liquid dish soap is recommended.
  • If using a dishwasher, choose gentle detergents and economical cycles at medium temperature.
  • Dishwasher use may discolor the pot without affecting performance.
  • Aluminum pots should not be washed in a dishwasher.
  • Avoid abrasive and corrosive products.
  • Rub the pan with a few drops of oil after each wash.

Caution:

  • Do not overheat the pot when it is empty.
  • Do not cook without supervision and do not let the pot boil dry.
  • Allow the pot to cool before cleaning it.
  • Use protective gloves during cleaning.
  • In case of excessive heating, remove the pot from the heat source.
  • Avoid slipping on a ceramic hob.
  • Ensure the base of the cookware and the stovetop surface are clean.
