This unit is one of the most advanced speedometers on the market, as well as one of the best TRE (Timing Retard Eliminator) devices available for select Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Triumph motorcycles.
Switching between 7 functions (+ bypass) is facilitated by the new touch sensor at the top of the unit. It is noted that on Suzuki 1000cc+ models, such as the GSX-R1000 and Hayabusa, it also functions as a top speed limiter.
All settings can be made via the touch sensor, which is fully sealed and embedded in epoxy. The sensitive area is located at the top of the unit. Once programming is complete, the unit can be mounted with the upper side adhered to the dashboard.
Installation is quick with a Plug 'n Go wiring harness, and full installation can be done within 30 minutes on most motorcycles. The display is an extremely bright LED, available in 5 colors, with automatic brightness control that adjusts according to ambient light intensity.
With the TRE activated, throttle response and acceleration improve at lower speeds, while the top speed limiter is disabled on 1000+ cc motorcycles. The TRE automatically deactivates in Neutral for smooth operation at idle.
