The active subwoofer Prima APBX 8 AS2 features an 8-inch driver and a dedicated high-performance amplifier unit. This unit delivers 250 W RMS power output and has been developed with he-li technology (high efficiency/low resistance), providing an efficiency level of 90%.
The new DBT (Dynamic Bass Tracking) technology enables the full utilization of the amplifier's power, ensuring dynamic bass even at high listening levels. The new dual coil units provide extremely low resistance, maximizing cooperation with He-Li technology.
The complete control panel allows for optimal adjustment of low frequencies, while the Butterworth low-pass filter at 12dB/Oct. with adjustable cutoff frequency (50-200 Hz) can be bypassed. The adjustable bass boost control (0 ÷ 6 dB) at 45 Hz allows for response customization.
The high-level speaker input facilitates integration with OEM audio systems, while the low-level input is dedicated to aftermarket sources. The auto on/off function can be set according to the source signal or voltage variation at the input.
The phase control (0 - 180°) and the SSP (Sub Smart Plug) terminal block offer additional conveniences in using the subwoofer.
