    This review is about a variation of the product

    I bought it with blind trust in the Denon name, as a gift to myself as something "very good".

    Build quality/appearance okay, very good.
    The sound is not bad, but I expected something more, given that it is in the highest price class of mini hifi.
    Neither can you call the highs crystal clear, nor are the bass particularly strong (this is expected with the speaker's size). Imagine that I am already looking for a sub to connect to it. But then I think that I should not have given 500+ euros to get something that leaves me unsatisfied, and that it is not worth continuing to invest in it.

    Comment: I passed by a café the other day and a single Marshall speaker of around 300 euros was playing. A tabletop speaker, that is, just the good series.
    There I understood how far behind the Denon is and why I should not have bought it. Fantastic sound, I was speechless from the Marshall.

    In conclusion: we do not buy anything before we hear it, it leads to certain failure.
