The Caruba UV + CPL + ND8 Filter Kit consists of three different filters with a filter size of 55mm: one polarizing filter, UV, and ND. The lightweight filters have a twelve-layer coating and come in a convenient storage case, with space for an optional fourth filter.

UV Filter

A UV filter provides optimal protection for your front lens from scratches, oily fingerprints, and dust. The filter optimizes contrast, reduces unwanted stray light, and neutralizes blue haze that may occur. Using a ultraviolet filter is recommended in environments with a very clear sky.

Circular Polarizing Filter

A circular polarizing filter is often used for landscape and architectural photography, as it affects the visibility of reflections from glass or water by rotating the filter.

ND8 Filters

An ND8 filter blocks 3 stops of light, allowing for experimental use of slow shutter speeds and is useful for photos with a large aperture or for video in very bright conditions.
