The anatomical seat cushion from Orthia is made of a special slow-recovery foam (viscoelastic foam), sensitive to pressure and the body temperature, ensuring a perfect fit to the user's anatomy, maximizing support area and evenly distributing pressure. The anatomical design of the cushion provides better positioning and greater stability of the pelvis, thus contributing to the user's increased comfort. Additionally, due to its special textured surface, it promotes air circulation, reducing the negative effects of sweat and helping to prevent the formation of pressure sores. The exterior is covered with a cotton velvet fabric, easily removable with a zipper for washing. Its interior is made of slow-recovery foam (viscoelastic foam).

INDICATIONS

  • Prevention of pressure sores in the sacral area for individuals who remain seated for extended periods or for individuals with special needs (paraplegics, quadriplegics, and others).
  • Assists in the treatment of certain types of pressure ulcers.
