Acrylicos Vallejo modeling pigment is used to depict dark mud, wet earth, and rust, as well as to create effects of dust, dirt, and mud accumulated over time and through natural weathering. The pigments in this range are applied to vehicles, armor, fortifications, and structures to create effects of wear and aging. They can be applied dry with a brush or fixed with Thinner; with Pigment Binder, they form clumps of accumulated dirt and mud.

The pigments are finely ground and have selected lightfastness. Tools can be cleaned with water. The packaging has a child-resistant cap.
