Acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially designed for airbrush. The Model Air paint range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and World War II, up to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts on existing and previous military references, providing the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy.
The use of Model Air can be done directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to prepare the surface initially and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint film with excellent resistance, preserving even the smallest details of the model.
For the use of these colors with an airbrush, the recommended air pressure of the compressor is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents. Please also see the certified safety information of the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing for use in minimal amounts and keeping it for a long time.
