My review concerns the 2-channel. I have had it for 3 years. Unfortunately... even though I directly power it from the battery, even though I have its volume below the middle, even though I have it connected only to the two rear speakers - since the subwoofer is self-amplified - it shuts down if you increase the volume too high!!! In other words, useless, as it cannot amplify the sound as it should... after all, that's its job. Sony's failure...

Purchased in 2016 and drives an Alpine 10" SWG-1044 150/500W in a sealed box. Source Sony DSX-A410. It does a very good job, good sound quality and build quality. It has made the Athens-Thessaloniki trip and back many times at full blast. Yes, it gets warm (within normal levels of course) but it never shut off by itself. It needs a good installation, good tuning, and there is nothing to fear. I highly recommend it.
