Geometry: Drawing lines - Movement on squared paper - Geometric shapes

Measurements: Patterns - Time

3rd PERIOD

Numbers: Numbers up to 100

Operations: Additions and subtractions of two-digit and one-digit numbers - Additions and subtractions with a carry over the ten - Multiplication

Geometry: Drawings, puzzles, paving, mosaics - Geometric shapes - Symmetry

Measurements: Measuring continuous quantities - Weight - Coins

Students are expected to:

  • Recite, read, write and arrange natural numbers up to 100
  • Perform addition and subtraction operations with numbers not exceeding 20
  • Become familiar with situations of equal quantity repetition and division
  • Have an initial contact with the concepts of length, time, money, mass
  • Recognize, describe and extend numerical and geometric patterns
  • Practice orientation in space, design, reproduction, recognition, naming, and classification of shapes
  • Distinguish solid shapes: cube, rectangular prism, cylinder, and sphere
  • Observe images and shapes symmetric with respect to an axis
