It doesn't do anything... it only cleans the sole around the edges, otherwise the fabric on the sneakers from all the scrubbing you worry it might get damaged too

I bought it to clean my sports shoes. They are white and easily get dirty, and had gathered some discreet stains/dust.
At the bottom, there is a ball that you have to press to start the flow of the cleaning liquid. I insisted quite a bit on rubbing the shoes (to the point where I was afraid of damaging them) applying plenty of liquid, but it didn't do anything at all!! It didn't remove any dirt, the gray areas remained as they were before!
I would definitely not buy it again, if it can't even clean simple sports shoes as it claims in its description, I don't see its usefulness
