I bought the water bottle when my son was sixteen months old, as he had learned to drink water with a silicone training bottle from the same company, and I was looking for something similar that would also keep the water cool in the summer. I can say that it is perfect for this job. I had forgotten it in the car overnight on one of the hottest days of summer, and when I emptied it to wash it, I discovered that the water was as cool as when I had filled it, almost 24 hours earlier. Overall, it is easy to clean (it has its own brush for the straw) and does not retain odors.
However, the exterior of it wears out, fades, and gets scratched very easily, even though I wash it carefully with a soft sponge and always by hand. The spout also gets stained sometimes from different foods and takes a while to clean. I should also mention that during the first few months, my child would slightly choke when drinking water eagerly with this specific bottle, and he stopped choking after 17 months. The only reason I used it from such a young age is because it was the only bottle with which he managed to successfully drink water until he learned to drink with the others.
Αγόρασα το παγούρι όταν ο γιος μου έγινε δεκατεσσάρων μηνών, καθώς είχε μάθει να πίνει νερό με εκπαιδευτικό παγούρι σιλικόνης της ίδιας εταιρίας και έψαχνα κάτι ανάλογο που όμως να διατηρεί το νερό δροσερό το καλοκαίρι. Μπορώ να πω πως είναι άψογο για αυτή τη δουλειά. Το είχα ξεχάσει ένα ολόκληρο βράδυ στο αυτοκίνητο μια από τις πιο ζεστές μέρες του καλοκαιριού και όταν το άδειασα για να το πλύνω, ανακάλυψα πως το νερό ήταν τόσο δροσερό όσο και την ώρα που το είχα γεμίσει, σχεδόν 24 ώρες πριν. Σε γενικές γραμμές πλένεται εύκολα (έχει δικό του βουρτσάκι για το καλαμάκι) και δε διατηρεί οσμές.
Ωστόσο το εξωτερικό του φθείρεται, ξεβάφει και γεμίζει γρατσουνιές με το παραμικρό, παρ'όλο που το πλένω προσεκτικά με μαλακό σφουγγάρι και πάντοτε στο χέρι. Το στόμιο επίσης βάφεται κάποιες φορές από τις διάφορες τροφές και αργεί να καθαρίσει. Να πω ακόμα πως τους πρώτους μήνες το δικό μου παιδί πνιγόταν ελαφρώς όταν έπινε λαίμαργα νερό με το συγκεκριμένο παγούρι και σταμάτησε να πνίγεται μετά τους 17 μήνες. Ο μόνος λόγος που το χρησιμοποιούσα από τόσο μικρή ηλικία είναι γιατί ήταν το μόνο παγούρι με το οποίο κατάφερε να πιει νερό με επιτυχία μέχρι να μάθει να πίνει και με τα υπόλοιπα.
