The Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 is a lightweight, compact telephoto zoom lens for Nikon Z full-frame cameras. It features a bright, constant f/2.8 aperture, fast and quiet autofocus, and excellent close-up capabilities with a minimum focusing distance of 0.27 m. It is compatible with Z-series teleconverters to extend its range up to 360 mm, offers dust- and drip-resistant sealing, and is designed to minimize focus breathing, making it ideal for video recording as well.

Constant F/2.8 Aperture & Versatility

The lens maintains a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the 70-180mm focal length range. This enables low-light photography at low ISO settings, the use of fast shutter speeds to freeze motion, and the creation of smooth bokeh for impressive subject-background separation.

Close-Up Photography & Teleconverters

It supports an exceptionally short minimum focusing distance, reaching 0.27m at 70mm and 0.85m at 180mm (with a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.48x). It is also compatible with the optional TC-1.4x and TC-2.0x teleconverters, extending the focal range up to 360mm with an almost life-size magnification of 0.96x.
