What can one say about this new technology GaN3 65W charger that shares power through two TypeC ports (45W + 20W) or provides a full 65W (e.g., for next-generation laptops) steadily without overheating when using just one? Small in size for the power it has, the charger from my old HP laptop is a whole brick two and a half times bigger and heavier than this one and it also overheats, and with a thick cable like that of a kettle with a plug, the GaN3 technology offers high performance, low temperatures, and compatibility. Chargers with the newer GaN version at the same power as this one are even smaller but significantly more expensive (50€ +). Original design, transparent plastic, and the rectifier bridges are visible on the side, on the other side the GaN chip Navitas NV6136A, and on the front of the USB, the coils and capacitors of 25V. Perfect for comfortably charging two flagship phones (Galaxy S23FE and iPhone 15) normally without issues in the expected fast charging time simultaneously, definitely a power bank and phone together. I have it with 2 Baseus cables of 1M at 3A (60W) Type C. It goes without saying that it charges anything with a TypeC port with the Power Delivery standard, it also worked normally on the MacBook. It also has a classic Type A port for compatibility with Quick Charge (max 18W) Apple 2.4A and with cables from Type A to microUSB or lightning or to Type C output. It is practically a multi-tool that you should have in your laptop or travel bag, rather than carrying 2 or 3 adapters with different cables and power. Also, from what I saw, it has thick side power contacts in the classic USB Type A port. Apple started this bad trend with the removal of the charger from the packaging and it is spreading dangerously, with imitations and many fast charging protocols. The Acefast A45 as an aftermarket charger supports a multitude of widely used fast charging protocols with variable voltages and currents from 3.3 and 5V up to 21V @ 3A which it recognizes automatically. Τι να πει κανείς γι' αυτό το φορτιστή νέας τεχνολογίας GaN3 ισχύος 65W που μοιράζεται σε δυο TypeC θύρες (45W + 20W) ή σε με μια μόνο δίνει ατόφια τα 65W ( π.χ για λαπτοπ νέας γενιάς ) σταθερά χωρίς να ζεματάει.
Μικρός στο μέγεθος για την ισχύ που έχει, ο φορτιστής από παλιο HP laptop που έχω είναι ολόκληρο τούβλο δυο-μιση φορές πιο μεγάλο και βαρύ από αυτό και ζεματάει κιόλας, και με παχύ καλώδιο σαν του βραστήρα με σούκο φις η τεχνολογία GaN3 έχει μεγάλη απόδοση, χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες και συμβατότητα. Φορτιστές με νεότερη έκδοση GaN στην ίδια ισχύ με αυτό είναι ακόμα μικρότεροι αλλά σημαντικά πολύ ακριβότεροι (50Ε +).
Σχεδίαση πρωτότυπη, διάφανο πλαστικό και φαίνονται στο πλάι οι γέφυρες ανόρθωσης στην πλαινη πλευρά, στην άλλη πλευρά το GaN chip Navitas NV6136A, και στην πρόσοψη των USB τα coils και τα capacitors των 25V.
Τέλειο για να φορτίσει με άνεση δυο flagship κινητα (Galaxy S23FE και iPhone 15) κανονικά χωρίς προβλήματα στο προβλεπόμενο χρόνο ταχυφόρτισης ταυτόχρονα, σίγουρα Powerbank και κινητό μαζί.
Με 2 καλώδια της Baseus του 1Μ των 3A (60W) Type C τον έχω.
Εννοείται φορτίζει ότι έχει TypeC θύρα με το πρότυπο Power Delivery, έπαιξε και στο MacBook κανονικά. Διαθέτει και μια κλασική Type A θύρα για συμβατότητα με Quick Charge ( max 18W) Apple 2,4A και με καλώδια από Type A σε microUSB ή lighting ή σε Type C έξοδο.
Είναι πρακτικά ένα πολυ-εργαλείο που πρέπει να έχετε στην τσάντα του λάπτοπ ή του ταξιδιού, παρα να κουβαλάτε 2,3 αντάπτορες με διαφορετικά καλώδια και ισχύ.
Επίσης από ότι έιδα έχει και χοντρές τις πλαϊνές επαφές του ρεύματος στην κλασική θύρα USB Type A.
Ξεκίνησε η Apple αυτό το κακό με την αφαίρεση του φορτιστή από τη συσκευασία και εξαπλώνεται επικίνδυνα, με τις απομιμήσεις και τα πολλα πρωτοκολλα ταχυφορτισης.
Ο Acefast a45 ως aftermarket φορτιστης υποστηρίζει πλήθος διαδεδομένων πρωτοκόλλων ταχυφόρτισης με μεταβλητές τάσεις και ρεύματα από 3.3 και 5V εως 21V @ 3A τις οποίες τις αναγνωρίζει αυτόματα.
