Description

Description

The Modern Era presents to the reading public the materials from the Central Committee of the KKE conference on the topic “The KKE’s positions on railway transport against the criminal policy of ‘liberalization’ by the EU. Modern – safe – cheap railways, free from the bloody ‘tracks’ of profit,” which took place on April 1, 2023, at the “Melina Mercouri” auditorium in SEF.

This conference represents a significant intervention by the KKE in the developments following the tragedy in Tempi, where 57 people lost their lives, marked by the mass mobilizations of workers, the people, and the youth. Following other interventions by the Party, the conference aims to shed light on the true causes of the tragic accident, which stem from the criminal profit-driven policy, and to present the real solution proposed by the KKE.
