This salt lamp is very eco-friendly. It comes with a complete cable for immediate use. Talented artisans and artists carefully select, carve, and shape the unique salt crystals used to create these lamps. When in use, the heat emitted by the lamp causes the salt lamp to emit ions that are negatively charged. These negative ions then help to produce cleaner air.

Air consists of many elements, including ions (positively charged) that are pollutants, such as dust particles. The action of the salt lamp is to neutralize these positive ions by emitting negative ions. When this happens, the neutralized substances become heavy and eventually fall, eliminating them from the normal circulation of air.

Electronic devices used at home also produce electromagnetic fields. With a salt lamp, this electromagnetism is significantly suppressed, helping to eliminate the electromagnetic burden from other devices in the home or office.

    It’s a natural product with natural variation so I was a bit concerned what it would be like in person. I’m pleased though. It’s more of a reddish orange than some others I’ve seen which was a bit disappointing but it’s not bad (my photos make it look redder than the reality). If you don’t want a very red one I’d recommend buying where you can see them individually first. Mine looks like a replica of Jupiter.
    I was concerned I would be able to see if they meshed two stones together and you can see it in this lamp but only in a small circle I can keep at the back. It’s also not quite perfectly round as it has a small tube shaped chunk missing from the top. But to be forgiven for a natural product.
    The plug is Greek so Cypriots have to buy another adapter. The bulb included is not economical and quickly gets hot but can be removed by pulling out the bottom.
    I was also concerned it would be smaller than the dimensions but it’s right on and the exact size I wanted.
    Over all, recommended.
