    Ultra-wide angle lenses with zoom capability and a shooting angle of approximately 180°. They have a strong distortion effect which is usually the desired effect. Their focal distance usually starts from 15-23mm in full frame, 8-15mm in crop frame, and 30-45mm in medium format.

  • Mount

    The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

    2. Some lenses can be used with older mounts from the same manufacturer, sacrificing certain functions (e.g. autofocus), or even with mounts from other manufacturers using an adapter.
