ED low-dispersion lenses, fully multi-coated optics and phase correction help deliver sharp, high-contrast images with reduced chromatic aberration. Enhanced light transmission helps produce bright images with accurate colours.

The nitrogen-filled construction is waterproof to JIS Class 6 and allows use at depths of up to 1 m. Nitrogen helps limit condensation on the internal lenses and prevent dust from entering. The binoculars feature central focusing, twist-up eyecups with 15 mm eye relief and a minimum focusing distance of 2.7 m.
