Description

DDR5

DDR5 is the fifth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR4 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for response time (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have selected.

The above characteristics should be compatible with our motherboard specifications.

Compatibility

The DDR5 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Specifically, DDR5 is compatible with the Alder Lake, Raptor Lake, and the latest Intel processors, as well as the AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors.

However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you must ensure that your motherboard supports DDR5 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.

XMP & EXPO

XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory, without the need for manual settings. (XMP/EXPO) is easily activated from the BIOS, is available on certain RAM memories, and is supported by certain motherboards.

Cooling & Design

The aluminum construction material combined with the height of the memory at 33mm, which is an ideal size to accommodate large processor coolers, helps keep the memories and the entire computer at a fairly low temperature even during the most demanding operations.
