The Hoya Circular Pol Mk II HD filter is a circular polarizing filter for camera lenses. It controls reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass, and enhances contrast and color saturation while maintaining color balance. The high-transparency polarizing film absorbs ultraviolet radiation and offers 25% better light transmission than standard polarizing film, allowing almost 1/2 stop more light to enter the lens for the same polarization effect.
The filter helps render natural colors and details beneath the water’s surface, as well as reveal interiors behind glass windows. It filters bright light waves that reduce clarity and saturation, allowing skies and green foliage to appear in deeper, more natural shades.
