In search of new headphones for work and for primary use in MS Teams for calls/meetings. In the end I chose these because, in general, I had been satisfied in the past with Jabra and I consider the support they provide with continuous firmware updates, etc., to be very important.
These are quite light and comfortable for many hours of use in meetings, watching videos, etc. Unfortunately, due to their size and weight, the battery is not that large, but with the proper setting of the automatic activation of the headphones when they are not in use, the battery life is satisfactory.
Very important: although they are absolutely compatible with MS Teams, there seems to be some problem and callers tell you that your voice cuts out. I seem to have solved this problem by disabling noise suppression in MS Teams (Settings->Devices->Noise suppression), which seems to be quite aggressive to the point that it cuts out your voice too if there are other loud sounds in the room.
Update: Unfortunately, the problem I mentioned continues. After contacting Jabra, they offered to replace the product, which makes no sense because other users report the exact same issue. Unfortunately, I am lowering the rating to one star because a product cannot be advertised as compatible with some software (MS Teams in this case) and in reality you cannot use it with it!
Σε αναζήτηση καινούργιων ακουστικών για τη δουλειά και για κύρια χρήση σε MS Teams για κλήσεις/meetings. Τελικά επέλεξα τα συγκεκριμένα γιατί σε γενικές γραμμές ήμουν ευχαριστημένος στο παρελθόν από Jabra και θεωρώ πολλή σημαντική την υποστήριξη που παρέχουν με συνεχείς αναβαθμίσεις firmware κτλ.
Τα συγκεκριμένα είναι αρκετά ελαφριά και ξεκούραστα για πολύωρη χρήση σε meetings, παρακολούθηση video κτλ. Δυστυχώς λόγω μεγέθους και βάρους η μπαταρία τους δεν είναι τόσο μεγάλη αλλά με σωστή ρύθμιση της αυτόματης ενεργοποίησης των ακουστικών όταν δεν χρησιμοποιούνται, η διάρκεια της μπαταρίας είναι ικανοποιητική.
Πολύ σημαντικό αν κι είναι απόλυτως συμβατά με MS Teams, φαίνεται να παρουσιάζεται κάποιο πρόβλημα και να σου αναφέρουν συνομιλητές ότι κόβεται η φωνή σου. Αυτό το πρόβλημα φάινεται να το έχω λύσει απενργοποιώντας από το MS Teams το noise suppression (Settings->Devices->Noise suppression) που φαίνεται να είναι αρκετά επιθετικό σε σημείο που να κόβει και τη φωνή αν υπάρχουν κι άλλοι δυνατοί ήχοι στο χώρο.
Update: Δυχτυχώς το πρόβλημα που ανέφερα συνεχίζει. Μετά από επικοινωνία με την Jabra προσφέρθηκαν να γίνει αντικατάσταση προϊόντος κάτι που δεν έχει νόημα γιατί κι άλλοι χρήστες αναφέρουν το ίδιο ακριβώς θέμα. Δυστυχώς κατεβάζω τη βαθμολογία στο ένα αστέρι γιατί δεν μπορεί ένα προϊόν να διαφημίζεται ως συμβατό με κάποιο software (MS Teams στην προκειμένη) και στην πραγματικότητα να μην μπορείς να το χρησιμοποιήσεις με αυτό!
