The finish is satin, meaning smooth and requires more care, as salts are more visible.

The installation is inset, meaning it is mounted within the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, with some points of support on the bottom for stability. Sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, placed around the opening, beneath the rim.
