DDR3

DDR3 is the third generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR2 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 800MT/s to 2133MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL4 to CL19, while its capacity has increased up to 16GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.

The G.Skill Aegis DDR3 provides a speed of 1333MT/s, with CL9 and 8GB per memory module.

Compatibility

    They never worked for me even though they are supposed to be plug and play and of course on a compatible motherboard. I don't know if it was some incompatibility or if they were defective, but anyway, fail. I didn't return them because unfortunately I was late in testing them and I was outside the return period..
