It has the characteristic Zeiss pop in colors, silent operation, fast focusing, with exceptional sharpness that reaches its peak at f4, and unbelievable weather sealing (tested in the Arctic Circle and in rain). For portraits in any environment and weddings, if paired with an 85mm lens, it is the best option, it never misses. Chromatic and spherical aberration, if present, will not be noticeable, it is minimal. On the contrary, coma is strong at the edges in full frame and you have to reach f3.5 to fix it. Personally, I constantly use it for astrophotography (at f2.8) in panoramas where I can confidently crop the edges of the frame. I am one of those who would never want to sell it!
