“Fila Holdings Corp.” is a South Korean sportswear brand with Italian roots. It was founded in 1923 and initially produced clothing for the residents of the Italian Alps, primarily underwear. In the 1970s, it shifted to sportswear, with a partnership agreement with tennis player Björn Borg. FILA became much more popular in the American market. It focused more on footwear in America and became the fastest-growing footwear brand by 1995.

FILA was sold to “Cerberus Capital Management” in 2003, and in January 2007, it was acquired by “FILA Korea.” In October 2019, the South Korean boyband “BTS” became the global ambassador for Fila, significantly boosting FILA's sales.
