It protects, moisturizes, and gives radiance to the skin.
There were times when I used it without having applied my moisturizer underneath and yet my skin did not feel tight without it, I felt comfortable with just the sunscreen.

My favorite stick sunscreen has changed its formula and it's not as shiny as before, I liked it because you can feel its protection for a very long time. I used it especially on my tattoos as well as on my face, I highly recommend it.

Generally, I buy sunscreen in stick form for reapplication of sunscreen, I never use it alone. I have tried 2 Avene sunscreen sticks in the past.
The Intermed is the first sunscreen stick I have tried that doesn't make my hair stick to my face. It spreads very easily (smoothly). It has a light citrus scent which doesn't bother me, I can even say that I like it. (Usually, heavy scents in facial products bother me, but this one is okay).
As for sun protection, I can't know if it does a good job, but definitely since I have it for reapplication, it's better than nothing.
I will definitely buy it again.
