Description

Snapdragon X62

The new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 chip features advanced 4nm technology and supports the 3GPP standard. Its processing power is upgraded and speed is fully improved, ushering in a new era of 5G.

5G Network NSA+SA Dual Mode

Supports dual-mode 5G networks NSA and SA with fast speed, wide coverage, and major global frequency bands.

Fast network everywhere

Supports advanced 5G NR network carrier aggregation (CA) technology, significantly improving spectrum utilization, bringing higher user data rates, lower latency, greater capacity, more reliable network service, and better performance. At the same time, low-frequency ENDC technology is supported to improve coverage, and signals in suburban, rural, and remote areas are wider and longer. The MC888 truly realizes the advantages of wide coverage and fast speeds of 5G signals, allowing users to enjoy a fast internet experience anytime and anywhere. During gaming, it supports LTE 4G Cat16 1.0Gbps rate, which is also very fast.

Wi-Fi 6

The MC888 adopts the Wi-Fi 6 standard and its peak Wi-Fi rate has reached 3600 Mbps. With the unique 4K QAM modulation technology and using the latest compatible mobile phone, the Wi-Fi forwarding rate can be significantly improved.

Many users

With a ZTE MC888, more than an entire family can enjoy a 5G network, as it supports up to 64 users with simultaneous Wi-Fi access. And business needs are also covered by this feature.

Ethernet

The MC888 is equipped with two gigabit network ports. You no longer need to worry about slow and "clogged" networks and can enjoy a very fast Internet experience.

Long Range

The antenna reaches up to 10 dbi, which enhances the ability to penetrate walls and windows, delivering a stronger signal and wider coverage. Compared to conventional products, the speed increases by 15%, and 5G signals can be received well wherever it is placed.

Changes when needed

Supports both wireless and wired broadband internet access, which can be freely selected. When one mode fails, it can seamlessly switch to the other to ensure network stability.

Let me write a few things too... First of all, I saw a big difference in speed (logical since I’m coming from an old TP-Link 4G router) from 20 Mbps it went up to 90!
Easy configuration if you have basic knowledge.

Now, let’s talk about the terrible Wi-Fi, which if I wasn’t too lazy for the process, I would have returned it.
No mobile phone, cash register-POS could ever connect, even on 2.4GHz. It never managed to connect even after countless experiments (channels, mode, MAC, filtering, 2.4-5G isolation, everything unlocked like an open field and nothing connected, not even after a reset... There is clearly an incompatibility between the Wi-Fi router and mobiles, laptops connected though.

The solution is simple. We keep the old router and turn it into an access point - switch so we have more ports! Whatever we want on Wi-Fi, we just plug it into the access point (we turn off DHCP, turn on Wi-Fi and that’s it)

ZTE should seriously look into this issue with a firmware update!

Very happy, big difference from the 4G+ of the provider I had before, I download at 780Mbps and upload at 50Mbps, very stable and with much better speeds and coverage inside the house, I have more than 15 devices connected via wifi and everything works like clockwork.

It definitely performs better than the previous 4G. I am in a tourist area where there is no option for a fixed line, which is why I am looking into these options. So in the summer, when the population multiplies, the network sometimes goes down and of course the router is not to blame for that. However, when it comes back, it gives me very satisfactory WiFi but not at all on the ethernet lines. This is only solved by restarting, provided of course that I realize it has happened. I don't know if the problem is only with my router or if it is a manufacturing issue. I tried to find a technician to guide me, but I was advised to send it back as defective, which means I will be without it for a few weeks and I am not sure if they will solve my problem, since my house setup works with Ethernet lines. If anyone knows something and can help, I would be grateful if they contacted me.

Replaced a TP-LINK Archer 4G modem router at the cottage, with mediocre signal. So far the difference is noticeable! From 4-5-6 Mbps download and 1-2 Mbps upload, I went up to 31-39 Mbps download and upload from 5 to 25! Make sure to do any updates it asks for before you start testing.

UPDATE: 5 months now, it works perfectly. Keep in mind that the router is 5G. The title on Skroutz and the hyperlink refer to it as 4G, which is wrong.

I’m saved! I was using a 4g+ router for 2 years and the speed and disconnections were incredibly frustrating. I was skeptical because of the price and the comments; I thought that since I had disconnections with my old router, it would continue with this one as well, but it’s nothing like that. Since the day before yesterday when I installed the ZTE, every day I wake up, I look at it and feel happy. No disconnections and a stable speed over 300mbps. I’m talking about the center of Arta (where my phone was getting 5g anyway) and with Cosmote as the provider. I will come back with an update if anything changes

It's not worth even 50€. As soon as I set it up, it reached 200 Mbps speed and 55 upload. This happened at first, but the next day when the portal was full, it wouldn't connect to another one. I go into the menu and there is no manual option to select another portal. Besides that, for the first time in 2 years with a 4G+ router, this one performs worse, and on top of that, it freezes YouTube and Netflix many times throughout the day when my phone is connected as well. The previous one was from TP-Link, and I can't believe this one is worse. I wasn't expecting such a disappointment.

Simple menu, easy to connect with Cosmote unlimited sim card, it is an excellent solution for those who want very high speeds in areas where the fixed line does not support. It also has an RJ11 port for a phone which I did not use and also 2 LAN ports. There is no on-off button but only WPS.

Very good and honest. I put a Cosmote card and it reached speedtest 970MBps Down/ 190 Up.
If it doesn't lock in 5G when you set it up, but only in 4G, put the card in a 5G phone to lock the card once and then put it back in the ZTE and it will work.

Just received the mobile router ZTE M888, very good with Vodafone SIM card, works as a landline phone with the mobile number of the SIM card, very good signal, WiFi easy to set up, tried it with Cosmote 4G SIM card and works perfectly, better than Vodafone. The router menu is simple, nothing special. The price is very expensive. As for data, if you don't have unlimited data connection, it's not worth it, data goes away like water. The speed is not always stable. It is fast in speed

Guys, it's amazing, I solved the internet problem because I live in a terrible area without fiber optic and I was getting around 8 Mbps with simple ADSL. It reaches a higher speed than my iPhone 15 Plus, consistently and without disconnections (I've had it for over a month). I connected it easily and the settings through the browser are also very simple. In a three-story maisonette, with 3 wireless access points, I now get 350 Mbps on the third floor, 250 Mbps on the second floor, and about 100 on the ground floor, which is completely disconnected. You should get it without hesitation.

I am very satisfied with its performance and settings. It only loses 1 star solely because of its high price, not its functionality.

Installation of the router is very easy. It has been stable in operation so far, I haven't had any issues for a month now. The speed with Cosmote sim is amazing. However, the purchase price is quite high.

It is not certified by Cosmote and does not work with its 5G.

  • Let me write a few things too...

  • coming from a 4g+ router with a maximum of 40 mbps and many disconnections per day. first day with this one and speed at 140mbps. very satisfied until I entered the settings... option for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and the speed at 450mbps. if it stays like this, there's nothing to discuss..

  • Very happy, big difference from the 4G+ of the provider I had before, I download at 780Mbps and upload at 50Mbps, very stable and with much better speeds and coverage inside the house, I have more than 15 devices connected via wifi and everything works like clockwork.
