Exoprimal is an online team-based third-person action shooter in which players control exosuits and battle hordes of dinosaurs. In the main mode, Dino Survival, two teams of five players compete in PvE and PvP missions, racing to complete their objectives first. Depending on the mission, the teams may face off against each other or work together against common enemies.

Each exosuit has a different role and specialization, and players can switch suits and equipment during battle. Missions vary based on players’ performance and other factors, making each match play out differently. The story takes place in 2043, when a group of fighters ends up on a mysterious island and is forced to fight by an artificial intelligence.
