Measure at the center of the forehead and clear away any hair, sweat, or dirt from the area.
Hold the thermometer at the correct distance, up to approximately 5 cm from the forehead, as instructed.
Aim steadily using the blue guidance light and do not move the device until the measurement is complete.
If the thermometer or the person has been moved from a different environment, allow time to adjust to the same room conditions before taking a measurement.
Measurement time: The measurement is complete in approximately 3 seconds when the device is positioned correctly in relation to the forehead.
Important: A clean, dry forehead and the correct distance are essential for an accurate measurement. Do not measure over hair or on skin with heavy perspiration.

The worst ever!!! I had 38.5 and it showed me 37!!!!!! Tragic! Waste of money, believe me!!! Fortunately, I had a mercury thermometer and saw the real temperature
The thermometer is easy to use and simple in its operation, but its measurements are not reliable. Although it is used exactly as the instructions state, the readings differ quite a bit from those of a mercury thermometer or a digital armpit thermometer, with deviations reaching up to 1°C. Also, the deviation is NOT consistent, which makes it difficult to trust the result. I have no opinion yet on the battery life as I have only been using it for a few days.
Very good. I didn't expect it. In seconds you know if the kids have a fever or not. I have compared it with gallium thermometers and the difference is no more than 0.1 degrees. It is so easy to use that, even if it is off by 0.2, it is still perfectly fine. The important thing is that in successive measurements on the same person, maintaining the same distance, angle, etc., the readings are identical. I have experienced with other similar devices that one measurement can differ from another by half a degree, maybe even more. The application is ok, but unless you have a case where someone needs systematic monitoring and it needs to be combined with other measurements (e.g. blood pressure), I don't see much use for it. If you want, you can also have a gallium thermometer for some extreme case where you need great accuracy. The classic electronic ones you find at pharmacies, well, I won't even discuss them. They're all useless.
When you want it for babies, it's better not to have sound when measuring, e.g., vibration that it has measured or a light indicator. I measure them when they are sleeping, and with the beep it makes, they wake up...
The discrepancy in prices is very large, to the extent that you could say it has ruined your own hand. Not at all reliable for children. I will keep it for the barbecue or special recipes in the kitchen, for nothing else it is
Tragic... it shows 39 while the mercury one shows 37.
I bought it for my baby and it has confused and stressed us infinitely.
Also, it does not have consistency on its own. One moment it shows 37, the next 38 with a one-minute difference.
It is not worth the money at all.
I was used to electronic thermometers giving lower readings than mercury ones. This one, for some reason, gives 0.3-0.4 °C higher temperature than the mercury one. It is, however, consistent in its measurements. I don't find any usefulness in the application, unless you want to create and keep charts...
It is the third time I buy the same thermometer. I have tried 5-6 different ones and either they didn't last or they didn't work properly from the beginning. I consider it the most reliable in measurements. I have compared (temperature) at the same time with an electronic one under the armpit and with the analog one and their values coincide. The negatives are that it lasts about a year of operation and that the second one I gave as a gift turned out to be defective. The third one I have had for a few days and it works perfectly.
