For the use I bought them for, they are just fine. I did turn off the 5GHz though because it’s a big house and the signal was weakening quite a bit. On the balcony, where there were 3 walls in between, even the 2.4GHz didn’t reach, but I didn’t need it.

The TP-LINK Deco X55 is excellent. I imagine that all TP-LINK WiFi Mesh systems are just as good in setup and management. The mobile app they have for management is amazing.
I connected the first one to the Router with a cable, having of course disabled the Router's WiFi. I connected the second one wirelessly to the first (WiFi backhaul). Basically, it connected automatically, I did nothing. Once the first was set up, the second was immediately detected.
If you connect it to the Router, it’s best from the Deco settings in the app to change it from WiFi Router, which is Default, to Access Point. This way, they won’t create an additional separate network; they’ll be part of the Router, with all that this entails as you can understand.
Ideally, of course, you’d have structured cabling, a Switch, and put a Deco with a cable in every room of the house. That way you’d have absolute wireless speed in all rooms. However, most people don’t have the infrastructure to do this.

I would like them not to start losing signal constantly after 2 years of use as happened with ALL the tp-link access points I had. Supposedly, this problem was solved by mesh, but time will tell

Η εύκολη λύση που θα προσφέρει αρκετά καλές ταχύτητες, αλλά όχι το μέγιστο είναι αυτή που θα κάνετε οι περισσότεροι:

Η ταχύτητες Internet που πιάνει με WiFi στο Main Deco που συνδέεται με καλώδιο όπως είναι λογικό, είναι οι μέγιστες, δηλαδή D911Mbit U518Mbit για Gigabit σύνδεση στο Internet.
Το δεύτερο πιάνει από 750 έως και 900 σε Download ανάλογα τις πόρτες που είναι κλειστές. Οπότε πρόκειται για εξαιρετική απόδοση.
Εννοείται πως τα συγκεκριμένα Mesh WiFi προτείνονται και ειδικά στην τιμή που έχουν τώρα (~150€ τα δύο). Εγώ τα πήρα 108€ και τα δύο σε προσφορά.
So far they do their job wonderfully, and the app offers many options for monitoring and controlling all the devices connected to the network. I would like them not to start losing signal constantly after 2 years of use as happened with ALL the tp-link access points I had. Supposedly, this problem was solved by mesh, but time will tell
Μέχρι τώρα κάνουν τη δουλειά τους υπέροχα, και η εφαρμογή δίνει πολλές δυνατότητες παρακολούθησης και ελέγου όλων των συσκευών που συνδέονται στο δίκτυο. Θα ήθελα να μην ξεκινήσουν να χάνουν σήμα συνεχώς μετά τα 2 χρόνια χρήσης όπως γίνόταν με ΌΛΑ τα access point της tp-link που είχα. Υποτίθεται αυτό το πρόβλημα ήρθε για να λύσει το mesh αλλά θα δείξει

Από τις καλύτερες αγορές που μπορούσα να κάνω. Πολύ καλή σταθερότητα και εύκολη σύνδεση.Επιτέλους σωστό ίντερνετ σε όλο το σπίτι. Αγοράστε το άφοβα!!! Έχει και επιλογή για να φτιάξεις ξεχωριστό δίκτυο για τις 2,4 συσκευές.
