Performance: BMC air filters are designed and manufactured to ensure higher airflow than original paper filters. In F1, BMC fiberglass filters minimize airflow pressure loss. This ensures the best conditions for fully exploiting maximum power. Therefore, the benefits of replacing the original paper filter with the BMC air filter are evident.
Design and Materials: BMC's specialized engineers use advanced software and the latest technologies to produce air filters. An F1 filter must be lightweight, made from the best raw materials, and improve performance. For this reason, only woven alloys with an epoxy coating are used to ensure protection against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture. The filtering material consists of a special cotton gauze impregnated with low-viscosity oil that offers the best possible air permeability.
Advanced Technology: BMC's technical staff has developed a specific production system based on soft rubber molding, which produces the red BMC filters. They are made in one piece without welded joints, avoiding the risks of breakage. This system, known as "Full Molding," originates from R&D in F1 and is crucial for the technical and qualitative characteristics of BMC air filters.
