The old case holder without the magnet lasted 2.5 years and suffered the exact same damage; this one, over time, “broke/opened” on the left side, about in the middle of the screen, I don’t know how to describe it. I’ll take a photo and upload it. Used only in the car, probably softened from the heat and when I went to remove the phone the damage happened. Be very careful if the case “heats up.” Let it cool down first and then remove the phone if you need to do so for any reason. Otherwise, I also believe it is the best system for car and motorcycle.
