The Single Malt whisky of the Lagavulin label, with its birthplace in Scotland, is produced by a single distillery and has exclusively malted barley, yeast, and water as its raw materials. This single malt has spent 12 years maturing in oak barrels before being bottled.
Nose: Smoke, salt, sea, seaweed, in a wonderful blend with sherry, vanilla, and chocolate.
Taste: Smoke and peat with the result of this lightly ashy, perfectly combined with sherry, vanilla, and coffee! All wrapped in a salty package. Highly balanced.
Finish: Long finish! With a finish of smoke and sweet notes of honey.
