The BlackBoard Basic XL balance platform is designed for balance and proprioception training, as well as foot rehabilitation following an injury or surgery. The two connected platforms move independently, allowing the movements of the forefoot and rearfoot to be isolated. The movement axes can be positioned freely, while the wedges that fit underneath allow for different angles and training methods.

It can also be used to warm up and strengthen the muscles of the legs, abdomen and back. It includes more than 100 exercises and is suitable for shoe sizes 47 and up.
