Description

Description

The KC62 is an exceptionally compact subwoofer that delivers deep, accurate bass for an enjoyable experience in music, movies, and gaming. It utilizes innovative KEF engineering and groundbreaking Uni-Core technology, featuring two 6.5-inch drive units with force cancellation, powered by 1,000 W RMS Class D amplification.

  • Twin 6.5-inch Uni-Core force cancelling driver array
  • P-Flex pressure resistant surround design
  • Smart Distortion Control Technology
  • Music Integrity Engine with iBX, SmartLimiter and Room Placement settings
  • 1000W (2 x 500W) RMS Class D amplification
  • Compact sealed aluminium cabinet
  • Extremely flexible controls for easy integration with any speaker and environment
  • KW1 wireless subwoofer adapter kit compatible for wireless operation

Uni-Core® Technology & Design

The patented Uni-Core® technology revolutionizes force-cancelling design by combining two 6.5" drivers in a single magnet assembly. This reduces the cabinet volume by more than a third while increasing cone excursion. The cast aluminium enclosure delivers exceptional rigidity and visual appeal, allowing the subwoofer to blend seamlessly into any space.

1000W RMS Power & Precise Sound

The dual drivers are powered by a specially designed 1000W RMS Class D amplifier (2 x 500W), ensuring precise control and instant response to dynamic passages. Meanwhile, the P-Flex Surround (Origami) withstands internal acoustic pressure for more precise movement, while Smart Distortion Control, combined with the Music Integrity Engine, minimizes distortion.

Flexible Connectivity & Room EQ

With 5 Room Placement EQ presets, the KC62 adapts its performance whether placed in open space, against a wall, in a corner, inside a cabinet, or in Apartment mode. It features KEF SmartConnect and speaker-level inputs, a line output with a high-pass filter (HPF), and supports wireless connectivity via the optional KW1 receiver.
