    I got rid of the plastic stuff! I use regular filters that I used to put in the French press, and instead of a special kettle I have a regular stainless steel one, which probably pours the water a little more abruptly than it should for this kind of coffee. Even so, it worked well for me and I recommend it for filter coffee lovers. It is relatively fast (the downside is that you have to stay on top of it and pour the water little by little), makes good coffee, but of course it has a small "learning" period for how to use it.
