Hydrophilic cream base for the preparation of galenic formulations for onychomycosis.

The innovative hydrophilic cream base (o/w) Synacure by CHEMCO was created for the preparation of galenic formulations against onychomycosis and psoriatic nails.

Characteristics:

• Innovative base with the ability to incorporate high percentages of antifungal active ingredients (APIs).
• Hydrophilic cream o/w.
• Easy application with simple rubbing that enhances patient compliance with the treatment.
• For application on nails & the surrounding area.
• Unique enhanced formulation that allows increased penetration and delivery of antifungal active ingredients and acts as an adjunct in combating the fungus.
• Has a characteristic, strong odor.

Key ingredients for its success:

• Thymol, menthol, tea tree oil, camphor oil, eucalyptus oil: ingredients with antifungal properties.
• Salicylic acid & urea: agents with keratolytic properties.
• N-acetylcysteine: soothing against irritation with keratolytic properties.
• Aloe vera: hydration and soothing.
